It’s fashion week here in Copenhagen, and one of the most anticipated “shows” is the one by Mads Nørgaard. The reason for setting the word show in quotation marks, is that it’s not a traditional show, but rather a video.
For the Spring collection, it looked like this:
The characters of the movie is Freja Beha Erichsen and Eddie Klint, who are shown touring Copenhagen with their friends. The track playing is ‘Copenhagen’ by ‘Sods’ (now ‘Sort Sol’), but remixed by Djuna Barnes, Anders Trentemøller and German band Rework together with Steen Jørgensen (the lead singer of Sods/Sort Sol).
Now, it’s time for the second movie in the triology, and a trailer can be seen at thecopenhagenexperience.dk. The music is very different from the one in the Spring-video, although it’s based on the same song.
Can’t wait to see the video later tonigt!

I just bought a new “French Press” coffee maker from the Italian producer, Bialetti, and some ground coffee from Malawi. Students don’t have any money, they say, but I’m tired of bad coffee (and I guess I’ll drink less now, hopefully).
So, a fresh cup of Joe and the magnificent Sigur Rós-track ‘Sæglópur’ (iTunes link) just made my day.
