Browsing through some Flickr photos of University of Dundee (in Scotland, UK), which I attended in the spring semester 2007, I came across this photo of a waterfall installation made by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson at the university. The world is indeed small.

Is your Google Reader also filled to the limits everyday with loads of unread feeds? Try this Absolutely Compact user script and get twice as many lines as before. Minimalism to the people!

Look how cool it is!One thing missing - also missing in the Helvetireader user script - is the “Mark all as read” function. I guess it’s just a matter of time before it’s fixed. According to Twitter, the Hicks are working on a fix as we speak and hopefully the Absolute Compact will tag along! I’ll keep you posted…

“In 1996, Larry Page and Sergey Brin were Stanford University graduate students, working on their Digital Library Project, later known as Google. They needed a lot of storage, and the largest hard disk available was 4 gigabytes. So they connected ten of them together and built their own 40GB drive, in a case made of of Legos. It is now on display at the Stanford University Museum”
