“Business cards are all about making a strong initial statement, and few things make an impression like the combination of lasers and meat. Meat Cards are 100% beef jerky cards, carrying contact info or other messages that have been seared in with a 150 Watt CO2 laser. Effective and tasty.”
Meat Cards: business cards made from meat and lasers.

A friend of mine just recommended JoeJet for random web procrastination. I’ll just share it with you too…

“This is what I call a packaging that kills 2 birds with one stone - It is a box and also acts as a hanger! Concept cleverly thought of by Steve Haslip, a graphic designer from Wivelsfield Green, England.
The concept was fairly simple: I buy t-shirts online and they always come wrinkled and I always run out of coat-hangers. So I designed a sustainable, reusable way to send and keep your t-shirts. As you open the package you create a coat hanger. The packaging could be made from recycled material whether it is card or plastic and the only waste is the green tear-away tab. The t-shirt seen here is from Threadless.”

“Imagine a person standing at a street corner. The projection begins with a three-dimensional representation of the immediate environment. Close buildings are represented normally, and the viewer himself is shown in the third person, exactly where she stands.
As the model bends from sideways to top-down in a smooth join, more distant parts of the city are revealed in plan view. The projection connects the viewer’s local environment to remote destinations normally out of sight.”

I like music, I like cooking, I like listening to music, I like food.
With Cooking With Rockstars, I now have the possibility to mix the best of both worlds. Various cool musicians share their stories on food and what they like to cook. Luckily, their flair for culinary arts doesn’t reflect on their musical skills - check out Ben Gibbard’s Peanut Butter Veggie Sausage Toast or Sune Wagner’s Simple Summertime Sauce… On the better side, Rufus and Sam Fogarino of Internal both present some impressive stuff!

Having spent all day in Fireworks, I don’t see anything nerdy about this concept.
