How would you pronounce “Ghoti”? Like a “goatee”, the beard?
Then you’d be wrong.
Obviously, it’s pronounced like “fish”.
Confused?
Gh = the “gh” in “laugh” (f-sound)
O = the “o” in “women” (i-sound)
Ti = the “ti” in “nation” (sh-sound).Ghoti = fish.

This is a pretty cool optical illusion; when staring at the spot for 30 seconds and then hovering over the image, your mind is tricked into believing it’s a picture in color, when it’s actually just black/white.
