One of the things that really annoy me about browsing around in Safari, is its inability to act like I want it to.
The two biggest annoyances can now be crossed off my list, however, since 3.1 changes some behaviors; 1) double-click in the “tab” area opens up a new tab and 2) true one-window mode has arrived! TUAW and MacUser also notes the changes, so I’m not the only one clapping my hands for these changes!
Now other people don’t have to settle for anything lesser than Safari, like for instance Camino, though it beats Firefox’ ass anytime on a Mac.

This sounds like a job offering I could apply for:
Media Technologies Evangelist at Apple Inc.
Imagine having an official Apple business card with the job title “Evangelist”. Couldn’t wish for more.

This will by far be the most nerdy object in my apartment once it arrives, but I love it!
It’s made by Sam Mallett, a graphic design student from The University of Wales, and I saw it on Gary Hustwit’s blog (link to article) about his movie, ‘Helvetica’ (imdb) which you should see right away, if you haven’t already - my girlfriend who doesn’t care for typography at all thought it was really good, so it’s not just for the nerds.
Now I’ll just have to wait for it to arrive…
