A while ago, Amazon bought J.K. Rowling’s ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’ which is an essential part of the seventh and final book of Harry Potter. They paid £1,950,000 (which is so many money for 157 pages that I won’t even convert it to other currencies - it still sounds like a reasonable amount in Pounds).
The whole point of the book is that it is handmade in only seven copies (!) and bound in brown Moroccan leather and embellished with five hand-chased hallmarked sterling silver ornaments and mounted moonstones along with lots and lots of hand-drawn illustrations from Ms. Rowling herself. Plus all of the proceeds from the auctions goes into charity, so it’s really okay for a company that has made so much money from the books to give something back.
Anyway, Amazon have now put up a site that tells what the stories are about and what some of the illustrations look like, and you can find them here: amazon.com/beedlebard. I haven’t read them yet; I want to read the stories as a whole, when I can, but it’s a nice gesture by Amazon none the less.
I’m a Coca-Cola guy. Always have been. Always will be.
But if Pepsi keeps pumpin’ out products like this Pepsi Raw, I might have to change my mind…
Pepsi Raw. The fizzy caramel cola we all know is losing the artificial ingredients and are instead being replaced by apple extract, coffee leaf, cane sugar, and sparkling water
- just marvellous! Real apple extract, coffee leaf, cane sugar and sparkling water. Nothing more than that. The way it should be.
Oh, and the design of the bottle is awesome too!

“BARACK OBAMA EMAILED YOUR DAD AND TOLD HIM HOW GREAT YOU ARE”
It’s absolutely bizarre, and I love it. Find more on this well-though of website: Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle.
Led Zeppelin. The Beatles. Pink Floyd. Behind all of these great bands where in fact The Band Behind The Bands.
This video proves it!

Maybe it will the right occasion to upgrade from my three-year old PowerBook to a new boy when the next generation Intel notebook chips is expected to exceed 3.0GHz!

After Warner went for a full-on support for Blu-Ray, many have predicted the death of the HD-DVD format, and apparently after Wal-Mart and Netflix also chose side, it is now over.
I’m not the one to say which one is better, only that I’m happy that the format Apple and Sony supports is the one that wins - I’ve never had an Xbox and I’ll probably never want a PC again, so now I don’t have any reason to buy either one.
